Origin of the Leotard

Maybe someone will ask Where it came from, the name "leotard" come from a famous French acrobatic performer Jules Léotard. At that time, Jule need to design a new garment which can help play well on the art of trapeze with two swings.
So, Jules Léotard created the frist "leotard" in the middle of 19th century.
Although the leotard was born, it was originally recognized as "bathing suit". Even after Jules died in 1870, "leotard" is became famous for English speaker and the French gradually named it as "Léotard". By the way, now our dancer fell freely and perform well, thanks to the great donation from trapeze performer.
